Immersive Sound Baths | West Berkshire

What is a Sound Bath?

Music is a healer in itself. Your favourite song can energise you, lift your mood, give you permission to feel how we feel or just help you to relax. A sound bath is similar but it is tailored towards being a more relaxing, meditative and healing experience.

During a sound bath, the soothing tones of instruments like quartz crystal bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, wind chimes, Native American flute, guitar and percussion instruments bring you into a state of deep relaxation and inner stillness. These vibrations are believed to promote healing by calming the nervous system, reducing stress, and even releasing stuck emotions, as they gently target areas of imbalance. I blend these natural sound together with digital effects to create a truly unique and immersive experience.

Enough reading, just listen.

Who is it for?

In short, anyone! You don’t have to be into meditation or yoga to enjoy, or benefit from, a sound bath. It’s just an opportunity to step out of the busy world, completely let go and relax for an hour or so. The whole experience is like a reset button for our minds and bodies. Of course, we will all have different experiences during a sound bath and there is always space at the end to explore these if need be. I enjoy hearing about peoples experiences so don’t be afraid to say hello and share a little if you wish.

What to Expect

I begin the session with a gentle guided relaxation to help you let go of your day and release any lingering tension. Then the sound bath begins, combining the healing tones of crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, wind chimes, Native American flute, acoustic guitar and electronic ambient effects,

I will close the session with some guidance around transitioning to the rest of your day/ evening and there will be an opportunity to talk with me at the end if you wish.

The session lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes.

How it Works

Studies show that the sound waves created by these instruments support well-being, ease tension, and encourage restful sleep.

What to Bring

Dress in warm, comfortable clothing and bring along a yoga mat, blanket, and pillow. Our body temperature tends to drop a little when lying still for longer periods, so make sure you’re extra cosy for this session.

Sound baths are not advisable if you are pregnant (1st trimester), have a pacemaker, have any metal plates in your body, are triggered by sounds, or have epilepsy.

Your wellbeing is at the centre of these sound bath sessions so if you have any concerns or requirements, please contact Andy before attending.
