There is always something keeping us from being present.  We tell ourselves ‘if I just finish this, do that, achieve this then I’ll finally start being more present.

Even on holiday we have our list of sights to see, things to accomplish.  We tend to rush round taking pictures of everything thinking that we can take this experience home as a 2D image.  If we are not present at the time of taking the photo then our photo becomes just a record rather than something ‘living’ that can rekindle the sense of ore we had when we there.
